Arena’s Professional Certificate in Web Designing (PCWD) is a one-year programme segmented into two semesters – namely, web graphics and web designing.
The course deals with the basics as well as advanced concepts of working in Internet-based careers. Starting with the fundamentals of computers, multimedia and the Internet, PCWD goes on to cover everything from basic art to the creation of illustrations, media publishing, designing content for web pages, developing interactive web pages, creation of Flash animation, et al.
Among others, the programme covers softwares such as Windows XP, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Coreldraw, HTML, Flash, Java and Dreamweaver. All of these are essential for creating new-age websites and web pages.
All in all, the programme trains students to create effective web graphics, images and illustrations so as to design and create new-age websites and other content for the Internet. Flash animations for the Net are also an integral part of the course.
